I come from a family of gun makers and my destiny was to follow in my father’s footsep, however when I met the master engraver Ferruccio Iora, engraving become my passion.
The great care I took to engrave, brought the first results and Mario Abbiatico wanted me in his gun factory.
There I had the opportunity to learn more and more about the art of hand engraving .
It’s now more than thirteen years that I work in my own laboratory, doing engravings on high quality guns.
My technique is to entirely do the engraving by hand using the hammer only to shadow deeper ornamental works.
With this method I had the opportunity to work with gunmakers of the highest level, as for example F.lli Rizzini of Magno.
I also did engravings for Nerio Cortesi, Piotti, Ivo Fabbri, Cosmi,and Beretta.
